Harsha Thangirala
Bio//
Harsha took up composition seriously as a freshman in high school, quickly finding a knack for orchestral and classical composition within himself. Once at Berklee College of Music, Harsha was chosen as the winner of the 2017 Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra Composition Competition. His winning piece, "Berlin, 1924", was performed by the orchestra live at the First Church in Cambridge.
Harsha discovered his talents as an engineer while at Berklee, in the Electronic Production and Design major, which sparked his interests in the technological side of music production as well as post-production for films and TV, an area in which he quickly excelled. In 2020, Harsha was post-sound supervisor and sound effects editor for the film "Ain't No Mercy For Rabbits", and was the composer and post-sound supervisor for the award-winning film "Roadkill". Harsha now works as a Music Editor at Bleeding Fingers Music in Santa Monica where he has helped realise scores for clients such as National Geographic, The History Channel, BBC, and Apple TV+.
